Every year in June, the Croisette trades its cinematic glamour for global creative effervescence. The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is preparing to open its doors for a 2027 edition that promises to be historic. For advertising agencies, tech giants, content creators, and global brands, this annual gathering is simply unmissable.
However, attending such a massive event on the French Riviera requires flawless logistics. Between back-to-back business meetings, keynote conferences at the Palais des Festivals, lunches on private beaches, and exclusive yacht parties, optimizing your time is the ultimate secret to success. This is precisely where Nice-Cab comes in. By planning your transport with a dedicated private driver, you transform stressful travel constraints into a moment of calm, comfort, and prestige.
Discover our complete guide to navigating Cannes Lions 2027 with peace of mind, and see why selecting the right chauffeur service is the ultimate key to a successful stay.
Founded in 1954, the festival was originally inspired by the Cannes Film Festival to honor the world's best commercial advertisements. Initially a nomadic event (the first edition took place in Venice), the festival established its permanent home in Cannes in 1984. Over the decades, it has expanded its horizons far beyond traditional television commercials to encompass design, digital marketing, brand activation, data utilization, and, more recently, artificial intelligence. Today, winning a "Lion" is the industry equivalent of winning an Oscar.
Cannes Lions 2027 will take place from Monday 21 to Friday 25 June 2027 (official festival dates) at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes and all along the Boulevard de la Croisette.
The detailed programme (talks, speakers, awards) is published by the organisers in the spring on canneslions.com.
The French Riviera in June is heavily congested. Demand for standard taxis and traditional ride-sharing apps skyrockets, resulting in endless wait times and unpredictable surge pricing. To guarantee absolute punctuality, Nice-Cab plans every single one of your journeys with military precision.
| Starting Point | Destination | Type of Journey | Festival Logistics & Traffic Insights |
| Nice Airport (NCE) | Cannes (Croisette / Hotels) | Airport Transfer | A 30 km journey. Heavy traffic is expected on the A8 highway and at the main entrances to Cannes. |
| Nice Centre / Promenade | Palais des Festivals | Inter-city Transfer | Perfect for delegates staying in Nice due to the hotel room shortages in Cannes. |
| Cannes Train Station | Accommodation / Yacht | Local Shuttle | Immediate pick-up directly at the platform exit to bypass the station crowds. |
The moment you step off the plane, your private driver will be waiting for you at the arrivals terminal holding a personalized sign or your company logo. They will handle your luggage and guide you directly to your premium vehicle. No waiting lines, no hassle. Our drivers track your flight status in real-time to adjust smoothly to any delays. The journey to Cannes blends the comfort of our executive sedans with a deep knowledge of local bypasses to avoid the peak bottlenecks of the A8 highway.
Many festival attendees choose to reside in Nice during the week. Commuting daily can become exhausting if you rely on public transport. Booking a pre-arranged round-trip chauffeur service with Nice-Cab allows you to turn travel time into productive working hours: our vehicles feature high-speed Wi-Fi and complimentary device charging docks.
Navigating Cannes during the Lions can be incredibly challenging. Between pedestrianized streets and delivery zones for temporary beach structures, your local private driver possesses the hyper-local expertise required to drop you off as close to your destination as possible—whether it’s the Carlton, the Martinez, or right outside the Palais boundaries.
The Peace of Mind of Mastered Logistics: At Cannes Lions, a single minute wasted in traffic is a missed networking opportunity. Entrusting your travel to a premium transportation professional is a strategic business investment.
Guaranteed Availability and Punctuality: By booking in advance, you secure a high-end vehicle and a driver completely dedicated to your schedule. Say goodbye to oversaturated ride-hailing apps during peak hours.

Total Operational Flexibility: Last-minute changes? A keynote session running late? An impromptu business dinner? Your private chauffeur adapts to your fluid schedule in real-time.
The Cannes Lions experience stretches far beyond the walls of the Palais des Festivals. Networking continues late into the night and often moves up into the scenic hills or along neighboring coastal towns. Nice-Cab offers an exclusive hourly or daily by-the-hour chauffeur service to accommodate all your requirements.
Whether you are hosting a business lunch on a private Croisette beach, enjoying a fine dining experience in Le Suquet (Old Cannes), or attending a high-profile party hosted by tech giants on a yacht anchored in the Old Port, your private driver handles the logistics. You can fully immerse yourself in the evening's networking and cocktails without worrying about driving or struggling to secure a ride back to your hotel in the middle of the night.
Need to take strategic clients away from the frantic noise of the Croisette to seal a major deal? The Cannes backcountry offers exceptional, peaceful havens. Have your driver take you to Mougins, the historic village of gastronomy, for a quiet lunch. Alternatively, you can opt for an artistic getaway to Saint-Paul-de-Vence or tour the historic perfume bastides of Grasse. It is the perfect way to leave a lasting impression on your international stakeholders.
In between two major panel discussions, take a well-deserved break to discover the high-end luxury boutiques lining the Croisette or Rue d'Antibes. With our dedicated hourly chauffeur service, your driver remains on standby at every stop, securely stores your shopping bags in the trunk, and stands ready to whisk you away to your next appointment at a moment's notice.
Do not let transport uncertainties impact your business performance or your corporate brand image at the world's premier celebration of creativity. By selecting Nice-Cab, you choose excellence, security, and absolute luxury on the French Riviera.
